El alargue in soccer slang means the extra time that the referee takes after the 90 minutes of the game. Usually three or four minutes, depends.

Well the Spanish speaking world has never been too keen on cultural sensitivity as it relates to dark-skinned people and our features. Judging by this ad and the boxer ad; I guess they aren't going to start now. These ads would never run in the US.

Despite that, they are rather cool ads. It's a shame we live in a world where I can't be positive that the bulging features are not part of the joke... Maybe it says something about me, but is certainly says something about the cultural histories of the world as it relates to African people spread around the globe.
