Flowchart = lazy way to convey multiple messages which will mostly go unread = plus some of your links are dead-ends.
Yessir. Absolutely.
I'm convinced that 95% of the audience merely glances at these and resists plowing in for a read.
Does everyone in advertising value the work involved in crafting them? -- You'd think that's the only possible reason for them to keep appearing.

I think these are glued to every agency's peripheral vision somehow. Everyone's seen them, but they never properly register in the mind until someone gets a multifaceted brief with a PPT decision tree. That prompts the Universal Flowchart Eureka and this is the result: another flowchart that is destined to populate the periphery, niggling the next agency just out of sight, until the cycle inevitably repeats.
Do we really need an ad to tell us how complicated making a movie can be?
