In a future where resources are scarce and humanity struggles to survive mankind looks to denim for salvation. Now, Çalık Denim, a denim manufacturer based in Turkey that trades worldwide, is making a commitment to the future by implementing a green strategy for its denim production.

well, denim ads are usually done with superb photography with awful copy.
I couldn't agree more with Billoughsby and kleenex here but I think this will work just fine for Calik.

Today is the anniversary of the annual of Halabja city, Halabja is the Kurdish city in Kurdistan - Iraq, which bombed by Saddam's chemical bomb in 1988 and this picture reminds me of the incident.

Denim bodybags? Can I just ask, for a small moment, why mankind would 'look to denim for salvation'? This is about a green production strategy, we're told. So, the toxic fumes from sulphur, dyes and caustic soda, those are all gone now, are they? Then why exactly is our hero wearing a gas-mask? Surely the world is looking to breathing apparatus for salvation in this ad?

Rarely does an ad get it so wrong so completely.
