Mmm. This is what my CD calls the "literal-lateral" approach - showing the product benefit in a literal way, but taking a lateral interpretation of it.
It works just fine per se, especially for low-involvement products like FMCGs. But the thing about this approach is, it's facetious by nature. It's tongue-in-cheek. It's a joke. And it should be executed in such a way that the viewer is in on the joke.
This... is a little too straight. It's not jokey enough. It's almost saying bare-faced that eating nuts will ease real emotional pain. To which - no, nuh-uh, no way.
Terrible design, horrible art direction, dodgy copywriting. Did I miss anything?
Probably over priced.
