This is slightly more amusing. I blinked a bit, thought about smiling, then thought f*uck it, I can't be arsed.
The campaign works but its sooooo dull.
But it works. And that IS the ultimate goal of advertising, is it not?
Sometimes I think we need to take our collective creative genius caps off for a minute and look at these ads like the consumer would. And I think the consumer would get a good chukle at these and then remember them when they needed to go buy some wood stain for their hardwood floors or deck or what have you.
I know, I know.
Yeah you're right it does work.
And you're also right that that IS the whole point of an ad... but it still bored me silly.
This is the best one. Art direction could be a hell of a lot better so it would be interesting or at least eye catching.
Either way, it's a nice concept. liked it only when I got to this pic. Either way, at least they do the job.
