Appealing, but I was expecting a sneakers ad, lol!
.: look for the green giant on the label :.
First I couldn't see what's the deal with this sneaker like thing! But when closer look and I was like wow!!! It's pretty good art work and indeed "Bird's Nest" made of road is indeed symbolic to China and Hong Kong itself. Good work. Love it!!! ;-)
just like a shoe
very well done, but I still can't get why it looks like a sneaker

it is not sneakers , the thing represents a popular building in Hong knog i dont recollect its name .
more over i have seen a very similar ad for a GPS network. it was a ball of confused roads like this one and the copy reading ' lets u find ur way anywhere' .
I think you all forgot about the Bird's Nest in Beijing, the main stadium for the Olympics:

tho image you have provided helps to get this ad better, but still this image doesn't resemble that building that much, moreover it looks like a sneaker
tho art and Idea is ok, but resemblance with sneaker is somewhat awkward

~ Quite obviously, I have gathered no moss ! ~
Good Art
Don´t get it. Only see a shoe.
c`mmon guys, where's the shoe??? thats the "bird's nest" made of road
mrckais
I'm so discombombulated rite now.
Stereotyping!!!! is the bird nest of china - Where they host the olympic.
Nice Art! They are celebrating China's National Day!!!!!!!!!!
Where have you people been? It's the Bird's Nest Stadium.
"bus advertising agency"? Is there a Trampak, Taxipak department too?
art direction could be better... bird nest? couldn't see that.
i understand that the ad is specific to chinese people, and they will be more likely to get the idea. but we have also seen bird nests before. this looks like a sneaker... that's why art direction could be better.
------They are celebrating China's National Day!!!!!!!!!!
This sentence is correct
@gravity and everyone saying the shape on the ad is a shoe:
"Bird's Nest" is the NAME of that building (stadium). It is not supposed to be shaped like an actual nest, the architecture resembles that of a nest.
The Bird's Nest was built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Advertisers are supposed to have a general panorama of the world and have up-to-date references to do a good job. Where have you been hiding!? turn your TVs on every other day, it won't do you any harm to watch the news.
鸟巢~~
ITS NOT A SHOE! ITS BIRDS NEST PEOPLE!
Bird's Nest Stadium? 2008 Beijing Olypics?
It's just a year ago people.

There are two kinds of people in the world; people who like mustangs (cool people) and people who like camaros (idiots).
