These two ads being sideways allows for some other ideas that are not always positive. To wit: "Because I'm in business class, I have to turn my head sideways to see the wonderful pasta up the aisle in first class."
The point is, if the message does not strike me immediately, than an ad with good intentions has a chance to go horribly wrong. I don't know, maybe I haven't had my sideways coffee yet... ;)
I don't think this ad can go horribly wrong, but I also had a strange feeling about this ad, when looking at it first.
I almost get the idea that the food is drawn the bowl and the tea cup. It seems to me it's an ad for a totally different kind of company.
