I agree to that, right use of visual to give message

Whilst it may be a noble message it makes me think Bridgestone tyres wear pretty fast.

I'm not a awarded AD/CR but alltougth i'm still a novice I got at least an advertising culture :

http://adsoftheworld.com/media/print/auto_depot_winter_check_2010

Allready done before...same concept, same art !

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this ad, but I'd say it is different artwork and also a different underlying thought. Definitely not the same. I'd be the first to admit this if it was.

They're both in the same area, sure, but there's a different thought going on here, and the art is different too.

The ad in question talks about winter and about maintaining a heartbeat. This ad ties the thought to the thinner the tread, the more likely you might be to cause an accident / a flatline. As a note, the other ad had links to other ads that were similar to it as well... I think you can play this game on every ad in all honesty.

Just curious, why would you be the first to admit this?
The art direction is just as juvenile in both and the thought is the same. Both ads want you to get your tires checked. Both use a EKG to depict the health of your tire.

Takmelius, it sounds to me from both posts that you have something against either the people who created this ad or the agency. Either way, I feel sorry for you.

Why did you have to re-invent the wheel? No budget for photography?
Once again, good thinking ruined by mediocre art direction.
Oh and Faraz, your client prefers it spelled "tires".

Okay. So you hate the art AND the copywriting.
Awesome.
Thanks for the positivity.
And I think you'll find the UK spelling is tyres which is the standard norm used in the region.
