The idea is okay, I get it. The execution is horrible, which means most people won't get the idea. I see kids fighting over clothes, pulling, stretching, etc. I think a more talented designer could have taken this to a much higher level.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the idea that the colour stays bright even until kids grow out of their old clothes? That's what I'm getting - it's a metaphorical ad, showing the same kid, just older. I don't believe this was meant as a hand-me-down clothes ad. Either way they could have shown the idea better.

Yes, the color might stay its true color longer, but it won't keep the child from out-growing the item.

I like the idea of clothes being passed on to siblings. I'm just not sure if the younger kid would like that the way ads are showing.
