I really like this advertisement from Brazil. The message is so great and motivates people to become and organ donor. Here you can see a lifeguard with seven people on his back who he presumably just ‘saved’ from the stormy ocean. Clearly the lifeguard is a metaphor for any human being. Anyone can become an organ donor and be a hero like this lifeguard. The art looks like it was a photograph but I believe it was a drawing or painting. The lifeguard is depicted as strong and brave. He is coming out of a stormy sea where the waves are big and crashing down on the rocks and shore. In the upper right-hand corner you can see what the ad is for. The ad itself is noticeable and catches the audiences’ interest. As the audience, you want to know what the ad is for and the meaning of the picture so you pay closer attention and find the true meaning behind the ad.
