A crown of thorns? They want a savior, not a hero.
Yep. I think a civic crown made out of leaves makes more sense. The thorns was made to mock Him as "King of the Jews", but it also symbolize that Jesus was the savior for Christians.
Ouch. Did the brief read "offend a billion people" ???

Nicely shot but equating a football player to Jesus is a bit odd to me. I mean how could he have hopped a tackle in sandals?
