BE PREPARED.
Boy Scouts of America
Celebrating 100 years of Scouting.

Known for their famous "BE PREPARED" motto, the Boys Scouts of America would be just the type of organization to submit their centennial advertisement 100 years in advance. This ad uses history to demonstrate that there's nothing Boy Scouts aren't prepared for, even anniversaries.

The art direction reminds me a lot of the campaign for the Holocaust Museum done my the Martin Agency many years ago.

The message here is charming, but easily forgettable. Give me a reason to take my kids to be Boy Scouts. This isn't one of them.

Nice idea, but it's a bit far fetched and therefore doesn't work.
