Good insight, i'm not sure. It just looks like a strategic billboard. It's not so creative.
IMHO you can't sell bicycle against car. You do not do the same things with.
For example, it will never come in my mind to go on hollydays with my children and my wife, on my bike.
The price of the "gas" you put in the vehicle is not the good lever.
By the way the gas you put in your bike, is your strengh.

And by the way again, In France air is free.

True, but I don't think their intent is to sell you a bike INSTEAD of a car. I think their intent is to get more people who own cars OR can't afford a car to consider biking it when at all possible. I think it is a good tactic. I only work 3 minutes from my house driving, and because of a bike route that runs between both, it is only a ten minute bike ride. This ad would be EXTREMELY affective on a guy like me where there is a REAL choice that can be made between the two.

Absolutely fabulous twist. I didn't really see the catch coming and I loved it. I bike to work sometimes, but can't always because some of my job duties include picking up printed works and such. This ad makes me want to bike every single day though.

You guys have to pay for air in the states?
Geesh, thats a bit tough.
I do like the idea though. Very simple with a clear insight.

It all depends on where you live, but unfortunately in many cities it's true. It costs 50 cents to put air in my tires over where I am. But if you're just riding a bicycle, the gas station attendant might turn on the air pump for you for free... EVERYTHING costs over here.

They'd charge us to BREATHE air if they can figure out the logistics of it. Seriously, we pay for water that comes out of the tap. Ever drank Dasani or Aquafina. Ever wondered what PWS on the side of the bottle stands for... Public Water Source.

You can still get free air some places if you walk in the building; or around here you can pay $.50 if you are too lazy or ashamed to walk in and ask for free air.
