Oh, come on. that's so cynical. Of course is not as easy, donating shoes doesn't weak your body and makes you dizzy.

Very good. Donating blood is not only easy if the person has no courage, or if no interest. It's easy to donate blood. Just overcome laziness, fear or lack of interest.
You can send books, cloth, anything even money through mail, can you send blood from your home? I criticize the easiness comparison. If you want to donate blood do it because you care, not because it's easy to do so.
