It took me a minute to realize that it's suppose to be the valves on a trumpet. But I get it. Nice idead. However, aren't there only three valves on a trumpet? Just curious.

i think your right with trumpet , but perhaps its a flute or meant to represent notes.

Or perhaps its that people who listen to jazz are such a diverse group they're a wide range of heights from midgets to basketball players. kidding

not bad, but here's where i think you're going to lose some points on these executions: it's a little weird that it's called "the jazz festival". and that coupled with a diner as the key sponsor makes it feel a little fake. i wish it was for a bigger jazz festival (maybe with a city name attached) and the line that paid off the wide variety of images you'd see in the campaign would be something like "when you love jazz, you see it everywhere." not the crappy way i just wrote it, but that kind of thought. a cool start to a bigger campaign perhaps.

That's the first thing that came to my mind, too.

If that's the actual interior of "Boogie's Diner", then this is really quite nice.

It's been done before in 2004 in Aussie for a Jazz night in a cafe/bar.
There was a big kerfuffle at the time cos' the agency supposedly ripped the idea out of a students' portfolio without crediting them.
If you want to know where you can find it, I'm sure Campaign Brief knows, as they ran the story.
