not strong idea specially with Brand like BM why is the world is not going in correct direction!! why is money spent in the wrong way!!

Probably one of the best ideas this year.
BMW should adapt it to other countries as well.

can somebody enlighten us greenbacks what they find wrong with da "execution". in terms of art direction, image manipulation, copy etc. thnx bros, peace yo...

Why don't they use front wheel wheel drive? Because animals don't have it? Art direction wise, the background looks like something taken out of school portrait. There must be a sexier background around than this. May be British Racing green? Put some sexier light in as well. It looks a bit gloomy.

I don't see what's wrong with these ads... I thought they were great. Plus I think the background a somewhat sticks to BMWs visual identity.

Its a shame we don't ever get to see the briefs for these jobs, cause I'm sure there's some great creative thought behing it.

The idea works better if it was TV. If you showed how the rabbit is having trouble with its oversized front legs, it'd be much better. The print ad at first glance communicates that it's a vehicle with great front wheel drive. It doesn't make it clear that it's odd to have front wheel drive.

That would be grotesque.

Wouldn't a better tag line have been "Since when do rabbits have front wheel drive?"

Guest's picture

Since VW started selling them again ;)

To the guest who suggested this line "Since when do rabbits have front wheel drive?". Good job.

I had no fucking clue what this ad even meant when I first glanced at it. Rediculous.

Guest's picture

You guys knock this ad but have no idea what front wheel drive even is??? To BMW's hardcore customers and enthusiasts this ad is hilarious.

Guest's picture

This ad is pretty funny to VW customers as well. Thanks, BMW!

I think this ad is beautiful, but I honestly don't get the idea...the jack rabbit explains why they dont have front wheel drive? Are they making fun of VW Rabbits? confused. :(

Guest's picture

They are making a statement that the driving force of an object should not also be the steering mechanism. Nature is used as a example of why it's ineffective.

This ad is meant for enthusiasts, and people who know more than basic colors.
