Been done. Some one with a benz Key ring doing the same on a JAG. ( thanks Mstefan )
Not a fresh thought.
The 'artist unknown' twist doesn't help much.
Been done, for sure. For jaguar... and in the other ad you could see that the damage was caused by a mercedez key.
This one still feel fresh because of the self-confidence. No need to throw shit on competitors. Awesome attitude!
try harder.
i hate that luxury cars can get away with no message other than they will make other people jealous. big deal. duh.
i hope the next one has the logo ripped off of it because someone else is jealous.
not.
Done in 2001, by DPZ, Brazil. Here's the link to that ad: http://www.ccsp.com.br/anuarios/anuarios.php?ano=26&premio=2&c=R
Last ad on the page.
yep.
this one belongs on joelapompe's website.

it's not that bad. im sure jung von matt is a hotter agency than most of you chumps work at.
what does working at a hot agency that have to do with anything? this ad is still ho-hum.
Chumps? What is this, an 80s College movie?
Where do you work kre8? And is that clever little name the number plate on your 87 Mazda coupe?
haha.
yes hang-the-dj, how did you guess?
sorry about earlier post, was grumpy. blame the suits.
No sweat, I always blame the suits. For everything.
u should apologize for that post Kre8. You pussy. And I don't want to hear 'i was stoned'. That's no excuse.
Sony Bravia did it too...very very recently...
Hm, arrogant and boring.
i used to write for bmw. 'arrogant' is the exact tone they want half the time. the other half it's 'ego massage.'
it's been done also for Peugeot in a TVC
I don't see this making anyone want to buy a BMW
Done 2000 by Nissan in Chile.
Not exactly fresh
I think all car brands did this :)
I remember the jag (a perspective shot)
with someone scratchin it with
a Mercedes key. (I think)
Same shit, diff day..
That does not:
1. Inspire me to leave my car alone for a long time in a public way
2. Give a good example to people and the behavior we should expect
By the way, I don't think the ad serves as a product push, instead, as a brand logo "enhancement". After all, who does not want to drive a BMW?
someone like it ,and others dosen't
