BMW/Lexus lipstick ad... the streak across the face. Hmmm, I think the lipstick's better.

totally agreed, my 8/10 turned to a 5/10

err.... from the ad, the driplets were on the outside, how come someone sitting inside wrote that?! (using water droplets from outside?!?)

I guess they are trying to say, that water condensates allot in BMW's... :))
Anyways - I still like this ad. The idea is clear instantly and it puts a little smile on face.
I haven't seen the mentioned upper Lexus ad though.

i think u hav a point...not sure though

The frost / condensation will be on the outside. Doesn't make sense to me.

Try turning on the heat of any car or just breathe with the windows closed in a rainy day. That gets the effect. (But BMW has this failure corrected, am I right?)

Ever watched the movie Titanic?

Maybe Sebastian got some "sexytime" therefore the condensation..his girlfriend is probably the driver...
What is it again?

oh yeah...rly good!

"Sex sells. Truth even better."
A friend

classic.

Okay, most of the time I dont have this problem...but I get the lipstick version. But not this one... What is the thought behind this one? I would appreciate some help here

While the kid wrote his name, the BMW accelerated. That's the idea. And I think it's been done a lot of times. I remember for example a (Peugeot?) spot, where a guy is going full throttle and because of the acceleration a tear leaves his eye horizontally.

I think, if you wanna do acceleration ads, you've got to come up with something new, like Ogilvy London did.

OOOOOOOh now I get it. He got pushed back in his seat. Darn my young mind is leaving me during weekends :)

Lipstick one is def. better than this one..

it's not made by JWT but by the agency called BDDP&Fils (France)

Joe la pompe is right. This ad is quite old (I think that the pedrocchi/beauregard team is currently uploading all his work (cigarette work right before)). They created it when they were at BDDP&Fils, quite a long time ago (2002 would be my guess, b4 the lexus lipstick, for instance).

how can you write like this? so the car starts and stops so that someone can write the rest ...?
