please show the product so i know what to buy.
waste of time... and maybe money.
The only good thing about all these bad Asian scan ads is that no client has had to pay any money to produce this crap ... that can't be said for most of the crap we all have to produce every day.
I think this is brilliant. It makes clear to be really sharp in a refreshing way.
silly scam work!
Yuck.
Lets see some ads done for real clients from these regions. Or is everything a scam.
Not entirely true. Thailand is one of the countriesthat actually does very original, award-winning work on real briefs. Especially on TV. (I'm not saying this campaign is real - I don't know.)
Most TVC's from Thailand are definitely real. And, good. It's too expensive to scam TVC's.
As for print, most of them are definitely scam. And, definitely afforadable to do lots of them for the shows.
Sorry, I thought this was from Singapore. I apologize.
Thailand's clients are fairly liberal, even so, these ads aren't 'sharp' as someone has already stated.
Apologies for my poor English, I didn't mean sharp ads but a product that is sharp, as in cutting blades.
YUK!
they are disgusting! I hate ads that promote animal cruelty to simply sell their products ..same on you people
www.thecuriousbrain.com
neither me. don't promote product using animal cruelty...

This is brilliant.
disgusting...there are SO many ways to say the same thing without cuttin a poor snake.
easy to say "art director".
waaaaaaajjjj, my god seriuslly?
so a lawnmower has sharp bladee? that's lucky I saw this ad b/c the one I was going to buy doesn't have sharp blades.
bullshit scam work done for cannes, will prob get a finalist, maybe better, depends what the stad of scam is like next year.
So many advertising professor here.
many theories, pls show your guts.
So many advertising professor here.
it's not about sharp.
what if u leave the grass in your backyard grow so high... then the snakes, scorpions, etc. might come.
so, this lawn mower makes it safer for you in some way.
right?
You really believe that.
Right?
jealous? Show your guts. or just a nut.
I think it's more about being fast than about sharp blades . Nobody considered this?
Or it's especially quiet...
Well, in a way, these Ads work, they show that the lawnmovers have sharp blades.
But I believe that brilliant advertising must do more than that, it should inspire people, raise a smile,
and this ad fails at doing that, because it's cruel.
Maybe it's a mentality problem?
IT WOULD ONLY WORK IF THE MACHINE'S MAIN FEATURE IS: "VERY QUITE"
But if so, why there's no line?!!!
Totally Wigo.
If it is about being quiet, I feel they've really missed the boat on this one.
If it isn't about being really quiet, well, you need a line.
how come all those people didn't understand this ?!!!, it's show how much this machine is sharp. i like it so much
We understand that it's sharp Ali but, there's no way you'd run those animals over with a noisy lawn mower; by the time you got anywhere near them they'd be up and gone.
Like I said before, this idea is anything but sharp.
Why don't you explain why this campaign isn't sharp?
Well duh, because you're never going be in the position to run over those animals with the lawn mower in the first place. That's not reading too deep into it either.
The only only thing you'd probably run over with your lawnmower would be a rock, branch or even a shoe you were too lazy to move.
It would've been better if they were saying the lawnmower was quiet, most lawnmowers have sharp blades to begin with. Showing things clean cut because a blade is really sharp is certainly not an idea we haven't seen before.
I think you're over analyzing. One of the basic tricks in advertising is exaggeration and that is exactly what this campaign does. It tells that the lawnmower is quiet, fast and sharp. Many ideas have been seen before but this is a nice execution and I think it is quite new for this product category. Duh.
Over analyzing? If it's going to be exaggerated then do the hyperbole, but they've tried to ground some of it in reality, duh.
Advertising what is that? Never heard of advertising before.
whatever
oh! i get it now...
black and decker food processor!
i thought we're suppose to buy the actual sliced snake for snake soup!
food processor looks so much like a lawn mower...
You're so f*cking funny.
