It didn't make any sense to you because you're clearly not Indian and do not understand the culture. Just because it doesn't make sense to YOU doesn't mean it's stupid. Think before making cultural generalizations.

BTW the ad is meant for Indians, and hence would make more sense to an Indian, coz in India we do have rose flavoured drinks (icecream i havenot heard of) or rose flavoured sweetdishes.
The execution by the way couldhave been better.
Overall not bad IMHO.

I like this composition and colors.
I had some rose-flavored water once. Tasted like I was drinking perfume. I hope the ice cream is different.
