so we FUCK??

or listen more to music??

Instead of Kiss it's Fuck

hehehe, these are fun (even if we've seen tons of ads where band names get distorted). Only thing is that they are all extremely different, and maybe they need a graphic element to link them together

There's a good twist in the campaign, although it took a while to get it. But yes, a thumb up.

"Pastes like shit."

like the idea but the´re only two that really work: this one and the "bombs´n roses"...

This is good to me.

Reminds me too much of the campaign that won the Cannes Grand Prix two years ago - just not as outstanding. Justin "Timberocean" is terribly forced, the rest is good, even though the thought is not so new. Ah, nice art-direction.

If I could get a bit attentio thanks.

It seems they arent that creative when they keep on the same track.

JvM ...
Here we go again.
Can please somebody say it with me: "worst agency ever!"
(at least worst german agency)

Vive La Aducation!

ah, this must be the reason why they are always on the top of creativity rankings in germany..

Corona Raymaker's picture

what are creativity rankings?

Vive La Aducation!

http://www.manager-magazin.de/it/kreativindex/0,2828,379759,00.html

an aggregation of collected creativity points for awarded campaigns at national and international award shows.

So what? :D

Indeed :D
And proud of it.

Admittedly, I hate the JvM attitude. I was there twice and all I can say is that I never met people that selfish and arrogant. They were pretty kind to me, but talked shit about any other agency out there (even those who were placed better in the '06 ranking). On the toilets were instructions that read like "we own your life". Terrible. There's a big gap between how they are and what they want to be.

i know what you mean but what you described is definitely not solely a jvm problem and i'm quite sure you know that.
of course there is this (sometimes unfair) jvm hype phenomenon, especially spread among students.
but sometimes people forget what jvm did for advertising in germany.

i really doubt that the guy who called jvm the "worst agency ever!" has a clue of what he's saying.

oh and i think these ads are okay. not great but okay.

No, I don't think this is an agency-problem in general. Many of their peers are on the same level, but they don't have this freezing atmosphere.

And in first place S&J did a lot for german advertising!

Corona Raymaker's picture

Are you actually from Germany?

Vive La Aducation!

what about GGK Düsseldorf then?

Corona Raymaker's picture

Finally! Thank you god! I knew you where there somewhere.

edit: I wanted to reply to Have Heart's comment, but somehow Addy came in between... :/

Vive La Aducation!

Idea sucks. Design is great.

This ad is clearly fake, why not try coming up with an ad for something without such an obvious usp. For this reason there is no point in judging this creatively, anyone can post an ad about a headphones that are louder than any other, or a washing machine which washes quiter than any other. this is just pointless. no one will ever see it and if they do it will probably be in some cheap freeby magazine, where the agency has bought space just so they can enter it for an award. No wonder real german advertising is suffering, all the creatives are wasting there time doing stupid things like this when they should be concentrating on the clients they have and trying to convince them that they should be doing good work that not only appeals to creatives but to real people. Its no wonder theres a problem, when creatives are given a real brief they are struggling with restrictions because they spend most of their time doing ads wihtout restrictions or when they have a product without no usp they don't know what to do, because they can't create a fake one. leave this shit to the younger up coming craetives who haven't started working, at least they may find a new approach to doing something refreshing or at least find a way of kicking you two out of a job... LAZY, LAZY CREATIVES! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES AND SO SHOULD YOUR AGENCY!

Think of fake ads as clothes showcased on runways or concept cars on automotive exhibitions. It's not shameful, it is a showcase of things that can be done in advertising, even if clients are not yet buying it.

Wow, you got something against line breaks too?

I kind of get what you're saying but be realistic, for most of us working for boring scared clients, the only chance we ever get to win awards is with scam ads. And if they're cool/funny/clever and award worthy I don't really see what your problem is. Just because an ad is for a fake client, doesn't mean the concept is unworthy, or somehow lesser than a real client's ad.

You should start loving fake ads, otherwise you're not gonna like it here and you can start throwing away your award books too. The overwhelming majority of great ads are scams. Get used to it. And back off with the CAPS while you're at it.

Huh, this campaign says these headphones sound more intense. Is there a better USP for headphones???!

A better usp...? maybe there could be a new brand of headphones that actually shit gold bricks... now theres a brief for all you JVM hopefulls.

These made me laugh. I would just exchange the Justin Timberocean for The Serial Killers, U4 or Red Floyd

Very nice art-direction.

I'm not usually a fan of swearing in advertising, but this works really well. This execution is the best of the 3.

I like it... I had a similar concept for a stereo brand, but the brand changed agencies before we got to do it.
These have awesome art direction. Congrats.

Head Fuck?

FUCK FUCK FUCKem all

After seeing the whole campaign...
KISS needs a far bigger 'leap' to connect than the others.
Bit up and down in terms of strength.

so is it mean we only listen to music when we fuck or we feel fuck when we hear music..? doesnt make sense..

Your music gets more intense --> Kiss gets more intense --> Fuck
