Hate advertising? Make better ads.
Now this is funny!
I love this agency. I think this campaign, however, is a tad old now. Still, funny and cute!
Funny.

It's the photography itself that makes this great, excellent light/shadow play. And they didn't screw it up with some corny line.
Altho' there's a hint of Levis' "New Old Jeans" concept that hits the nose, this (or the other one in the cmpgn.) ad is Fabu-Fucking-Los!!!!
they showed me a picture & i laughed

There is ZERO creative here. The product is jeans for kids. So they got some kids and dressed them up in jeans. Wow, didn't see that one coming...
You are missing the idea. Jeans slipped down so underpants are visible is trendy among youngsters. If a baby would follow trends instead of underpants you would see his/her diaper - this is the concept here.
No, I totally got that. It's just not a creative concept. It's a first thought and a stereotypical, cliched one at that. Low-rise jeans with underwear showing is not a new trend in fashion. Every fashion ad that depicts shirtless men in jeans usually has that motif. It's nothing new, intelligent nor interesting.
But if you like the ad, cool.
Sorry then. The twist would be the underwear->diaper change. If you think it's lame, cool. Neither do I think this is a big idea, still it made me smile. Peace!
This is sadly a cultural reference that doesn't need to be glorified any longer.

Your post should've read "done poorly in Argentina".
Really? You think this is funny and/or culturally relevant? You ever hear of a band called Nirvana or of coffee from chain restaurants, because this clearly the early 90's? Also I find the style of photography slightly odd for kids.
Doin' it for the points
I've found 2 older ones :
