Really nice, I love it when an ad doesn't need copy and the product and the image say it all.
Same concept done for pinocchio's nose,
I think you can found it somewhere on AOW.
Simple and elegant. Now that's what I call creative
Portfolio * Myspace * Facebook

Hate advertising? Make better ads.
Did this really run?

"I love some things, and don't love some other things."
I ask myself the same question. Although I do enjoy the execution.
It's the same idea as the Lycra one. Like it better though for the illustration and the odds that his better wearing a BandAind rather than spandex.
keep smilling
Great idea! Great execution. Go JWT Dubai.
Nothing special...
Awsome!!! Pure and simple, and great! :)

Bravo!!! Right on target.
A smile in the mind. Simple and brilliant.
That image makes me wonder....what does the Hulk use to trim his nails with his own teeth or does he have Chuck Norris use a blade of grass to slice them off?
Great!
I thought Shrek lost his wedding ring...
Very very good. Reminds me the hulk ads for ps2 http://www.briefblog.com.mx/imagenes/126686912_5b25f215dd.jpg
very similar to what ive done 5 years ago but im scared about using the copywrite of marvel characters
Like MrMiyagi said, no copy needed, just the visual. Although "Flexible Fabric" is displayed on the Band-Aid box. Still an incredible visual.
10* congrats!

oh excelent ad
AWSOME!!!!
outsmart me, if you can
There is no copy here, just a packshot. And if 'flexible fabric' wasn't on the packshot, I would have written at least the word 'Flexible' on the print...you know... just for the 99,9 % of the population. Unless it would be a scam submitted to an award show.
Very nice ad by the way.
nice
Hulk in advertising??
original!!!
Idea OK, but very clean work.
Simple ideas are the best !
very good, but
overrated.
:::J:::
so CUTE lol
good job ziya! way to go!!! :)
idea could've been much entertaining if it was applied on real hand
outsmart me, if you can
As far as i know even bullets cant hurt the Hulk... so from where he got the knife which cut his finger..... : -0
I think the ad means: a flexible fabric band -aid was raped around the finger when he was normal human, when he transformed into a giant creature
the band-aid didn't fall, it stayed attached because of its flexible fabric.
Hulk is iverused... anyway this very same idea has been used twice :

first thought...
AV
Do not know if the mothers who buy the product you will understand the ad, but for everyone else is very good.
WTF?!
What is fresh and new crap?
Using cartoon characters to sell products is a very old school approach... Spider Man was used for anti-insect product and many child products and sport events, BatMan is used for sunglasses, motorbikes and sunblocks, Superman was used over and over for many categories... etc. Even Hulk himself (which is a character from the 70's) was used for many products like child nutrition, body building books, safety awareness... and that is only what I can recall without search.
Besides, this idea MAY LEAVE AN EXACT REVERSE EFFECT because Hulk does not need band for his wounds.
Why should I use Band-Aid if I am Hulk?
If it meant to say 'you're gonna be like Hulk using this product', the visual absolutely contradict this claim: 'using it is useless as you're gonna heal anyways being Hulk'.
Nevertheless, vice art direction and 3D work.
Dude, you just have to understand the idea, an you won't come up with all your made-up problems.
Man -> Hulk. Hulk's finger is thicker than man's finger. So when you put a plaster on the man's finger, it has to be very flexible and sticky
to stay there when he turns into Hulk. It has nothing to do with Hulk being invulnerable (is he??) or being green or stinky or whatever.
Using a cartoon character is not an idea that can be old or over-used. The way you use it what matters, the way you link one of his/her property to your product. All of your examples were million miles away considering the concept behind them.
Probably this is way you sold it to the client if there is any.
This is a brand for Johnson n Johnson, totally American. I don't know why they should use JWT Third World for their adhesive bandages. It seems that FP7 shame wasn't sufficient lesson for scammers in the ME to grow wiser.
Yes Hulk is invulnerable, which makes the whole bandage useless. Move your thing and watch the movie.
If it's about stretching and flexibility, Hulk doesn't stand mainly for that. Using a ballon or your butt would sell it better.
Recap, all the deja-vu examples I gave are clearly correspondent and quite original to this, as such nothing is fresh here.
lol - I really dont think you understand the idea 'Withouts'. If you dont know the Hulk then you wont understand this.
Dzsoi and J Designer,
Though both of you have a point about stretching skin but Hulk image doesn't trigger in mind flexibility as first perception. When I see his hand in a visual I only think about power and invulnerability. So 'withouts' has a point.
I also agree about the scam. This ad doesn't seem to be genuine.
easy... It the shame...
HB
Wow.. it looks like a JWT staff forum up there ⬆⬆⬆
nice!
"Bright ideas bring better results"
In a simple but clever manner it demonstrates the products main point/benefit; that it stretches and is flexible when applied to a wound therefore doing its job, no matter how flexible or active you might be, or where you might go with it on. Simply brilliant. Good work. i wonder how many ideas were thrown out before this one popped up and how long it took the art director to craft it?
I really like the ad, however using the Hulk to illustrate flexibility has been done before

c'est superb
simple. nice.
Ok, it's fun and eye catching. It gets the message across. But it's hardly amazing.

only problem is the target audience have to know who the hulk is, probably not for an older audience
Actually IT IS for the older audience. Hulk as a character was created in 1962.
awesome.... creativity
