i think this series is morbid, violent and the humor sophomoric. in an obvious attempt to win awards, the creatives take this concept way over the edge.

Good Job. The idea has a unique quality, the direction is correct (just a bit rushed) Eye catching means the campaign has a lasting effect. also funny, It’s good their doing themselves in because people grow to hate their Uncomfortable chairs.
One major complaint, the handwriting is unbelievably bad. there are several words I can not even read.
going in the right direction but needs to at least be legible.
I wish the chair I’m sitting in now had the guts to do the same thing (my but hurts). ; )

The shotgun one is violent...do we really need to go there for friggin office furniture? Do you think "Betty" the office supply manager is going to get turned on by this ad?

The copy reads:
To my desk,
I leave you my patchwork back cushion you were always so fond of. In our day we were never designed as ergonomically as today’s office furniture. I just can’t compete and my old rusty wheels just won’t take the pace anymore. Remember me my friend when your new Bafco chair arrives on Monday morning.

This campaign is kind of ripping off the Spike Jonze Ikea ad with the lamp. Except that I actually had emotions in that ad, and these just seem over the top.

all this campaign wouldve been better if
1. the copywriter didnt mention the product name on the copy
2. the product image is not present
3. if the illustration filled the entire ad
