Other than the colors, X's and O's have no connection to men and women, respectively. Seems like student work.

first is the strongest, I dont think its the ideas, but the same execution......axe is one of those brands that you can do a "one off" after one off of the same idea (axe gets you sexy time) and keep the joke going, but I dont think all three are necessary.

Gold's Gym is another like that

It's not gender specific because the O chromosome is shown with the X chromosome, which by convention indicates hybridisation - in particular splicing animals with humans.
