I thought quattro says "perfect grip on all grounds", but this ad shows the direct opposite. At least this would work for strong motors or so.
i thought the idea behind this ad is the quattro is so nice that even the poster is ripped off from the wall... i might be wrong
criticize is way easier than create. use more brain.
I'd go with that interpretation too

The Ad Mad
It works in both sides... And i guess that's when a line can help......
Think outside the X_BOX
Well Quattro means all 4 tyres grip, so i'm guessing the fact that all the 4 corners of the poster are still there, it represents the tyres.
Ah, now I get it. Nice thought, but I think it's way to tricky and not really clear.
The concept of grip (4 quattro) is well known for AUDI, so I believe it doesn´t need more copy or info
I like it.
Well my name is Dick Huges and I like this one.
Smart...works for me anyway.
"Sex sells. Truth even better."
A friend
been done - for prestick years ago tbwa/huntlascaris sorry lads theirs worked better
My car will be gone ( with me sitting inside) ..and those 4 tyres with super grips will stay... Hmm..perfect grip on all grounds while the driver flies away...
too smart for me :-) I mean I may try to find out what it is because I see it on an ad blog. But IRL... the message never goes trough
freakin great
The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time
definitely for judges not consumers. will there be any real target group get it? i doubt that.
not the best ad... but I think the idea is that originally there was a car on the poster, the four glued down corners represent when you get stuck like in the mud with your car, but it was able to get loose hence to the 4WD... then it makes sense. just a thought.
hasn't this idea been done with a hoarding?? years back??
ideas....30 minutes nahi toh free.
That's right, looks like a follow up of the same old campaign.
FER.
If I was the client I would not approve this ad. But for sure this is clever, and is the kind of ad that can be shortlisted in Cannes. A good one to put on your book, not on a magazine.
Hmm...I look foward to seeing the Cannes shortlist then.
If this shit is going to be a finallist, I'm entering every copy only, client written headline, stock library pic, mono 10x2 I've done for the last 12 months.
Even they're better than this trash.
Aaah, the voice of reason returns.
Hi Boony, you old dog, how's that Macca's campaign coming along? Flog those cheeseburgers to 4 year olds...you know they need it!
I've seen your 10x2's and I gotta say, although they're not award winning (or even any good, of course) they're better than this absolute scam shite.
Hate this ad, it makes no sense and is only directed at award judges.
Ads for psychics eh.
Cheers, Marco
I was all set to can it...ripping off a 'World's Greatest Posters' poster from 15+ years back.
Cunning little idea. Don't mind being caught out by thinking like that.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Unless Audi started making glue, this ad makes no sense. talk about forced!
---------------------------------
If it dont sell it aint creative
an ad shouldn't be open to interpretation.
what?!
don't get me started.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
The poster looks as if it's been torn out of anger. I think it's been targeted to the competitors, to convey their act of frustration.
love it.
