This was done a bit better by Mckinney Silver in the US years ago
for Audi. Surprised DDB doesn't know this work.

this would be more suitable for a AUDI golf related event, not as main emphasis for AUDI golf

As a matter of fact, I can already foretell what DDB Italia will propose us for the 2008 Olympic Games... 5 rings instead of the usual 4 in the Audi logo...

It says that Audi is 4 times better than Volkswagen Golf.
Very subtle. I love it! Just kidding.

As I see every official sponsor ad sticks to this visual synthesis kind of thing. It's not that bad but something new would be welcomed.
