I like the idea . . .
If you look closely you'll see foot steps leading to the gene's lamp . . . the foot steps then turn into wheel marks . . .
So the person made a wish and it came true . . .
Maybe the Aston Martin is now more affordable . . .
s
It's ironic that Aston Martin is so expensive you need a genie to own one. Branding by overpricing.
nice little thought!
I actually think the foot steps and the wheel marks should have been the other way around. it would sell the
idea quicker - because you can't really make out where the footsteps came from. first think I thought (before seeing the logo):
Someone got rid of his car, before walking of relieved into a beautiful cave..
Apart from that, nice art on a stock image.
it's pretty & subtle, but Landrover or any other high-end car company could've done this.

~ old habits die hard, older ones never do ~
The genie ad for the Mini Cooper S is much much better to the point.
Have a look at:

Man, I love this picture. How they manage to tell a small story with only subtle hints and let your imagination do the rest. Great!

There Is New Shit Under The Sun. There are still BigBadFatMadafaka ideas.
i totally missed the footsteps, they should have been done the other way round at least. and it looks like the genie turned the MAN into a CAR!

it took me a second to get this, but now that i see the light... i like it :)
me gusta, la producción está genial.
Neither did i understand the ad before zooming it nor this gentleman's opinion.
It feels like you need to be in the AM Club to decipher this.
Cool strategy.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
when i leave the secret chamber, i will grab along the gene's lamp:| put in my pocket and use it for forever, how come it still there? some feeling is not there..for me.

because the man turned into a car, he does not have hands to grab it :D :D

oh my god, i don't want to turn myself into a car! please. i would rather, grab the lamp. and WALK away from the chamber.

:))))
excellent!!
a man comes along, in search of the aladdin lamp, but saw or wish for the aston martin instead...
Hmm I like it, Old school.
its a style of visual humour which has been doing the rounds in ads for eons, but this is good.
Nice photography too.

de pelos, muy bueno
lovely lighting and photo. but the idea is a too complecated. and this photo doesn't tell the story well and simple enough.
that is some confusing stuff.
First of all i was looking at it trying to figure out what Petra as a location had to do with it? Did anybody think that? its too much of a recognisable location. No one is going to get that and why cant we see the car? is it a 4x4?? if not why would he wish for a normal car that would get stuck in the desert outside? i wouldnt want to buy a car i cant see, i wouldnt even be interested to walk into a showroom and say, hey have you got that car from the ad with the lamp etc etc
I dont usually look too deep into an ad but this one deserves a breakdown!
i thought it was petra, but since nobody made the connection, it is not petra, it is more of a cave in the desert, rather to connect it to alaadeen lamp, but this is not petra at all... n ur right, it isnt powerful enough to be talked about, its just another pretty face with no brains :)

I agree, I don't even now where Petra is, but I still quite like this ad.
Its not great, but it involves the viewer and I like it.

This is being forced. Why hasn't he taken the lamp along with him? Because, we wont decipher
the ad without the lamp.Atleast the lamp should've fallen on the ground to make it look more animate.
Still don't get it.Probably should be in the AM Club
I would have said the reason he didn't take the lamp was because all his wishes came true with the car, so he has no need for it.

or as i insist to say, the man turned into a car with no hands :P
