Ha ha ha
fortunately stain is close to 'Namaste' position. it would have been a bad seen if it was somewhere else.
Stubborn

well said rohan

so is this like a cannes shortlist/winner or something, coz this whole week Ivan's been putting up the Cannes ads
You Are What You Expect
No, this isn't. If it's Cannes it will be marked in the tags below the title.
what if her left breast's been cut off (breast cancer) & she's trying to cover her non-existent tit?
hey guest, left your brins behind or r u born with an abominable sense of humor??
this stuff rocks...
they showed me a picture & i laughed
dignity has never been photographed
i think it's super & subtle
the namaste is very much subcontinental, but i don't find the choice of model to be such. she doesn't look like a very oriental face. not a good choice.
idea is good! like it.
shahid
shahidali, this is very indian woman man
iss tarah ki larkiyaan hoti hain hamari dilli mai, don't worry man, the ad is super cool

'is tarah ki ladkia' hoti hai tumhari dilli mein, lekin woh saari nahin pahenti hai.
she looks a bit skinni and too much 'today' kind who usually don't carry a saari.
if you wanna make the lady look indian, make her an indian. i know changes are coming in dressup and complexiion, but the portrait of an indian woman hasn't changed much. u say namaste and you show a girl with a saari and show a ramp girl wearing it, doesn't go bro.
shahid
I agree with you shahidali, this girl is not like the common indian girl.
please, explain me this ads
this is good... fuuny... i like it..
How brilliant!
anyone explain this ad pls? Thx
she is covering a stain with her hands
Bright idea

it really funny. nice idea
can anyone explain this please? either something wrong with my screen or my brain...
Good one
Cheers
To those that don't understand - and this is obviously a South Asian target (I'm Canadian and still get it).
Standard position of the hands is in the centre. She is embarrassed about having a stain on her right chest, and so moved her hands accordingly. We know where her hands _should_ be, so she moves them for a reason. Very subtle, but very clever.
Great ad guys!
& wonder y would those from subcontinent (if they r the ones asking) dont get it? There must be a reason why her hand position is not in center + the tag line....now u get it!
nice ad, very subtle and creative
subtle dosen't make sales
i remove the ariel logo and plant 'surf', 'nirma', 'ok' it still works.
sad how advertising has only become a playful arena of clever ideas. branding and brand image be damned.
ad loving mad creative | http://www.desicreative.com/forum
but surf, nirma, or ok won't do this...
but surf, nirma, or ok won't do this...
Its an amazing concept.. Great Ad.. Thanks Ivan for posting this
Stupid, hateful, disgusting, sick, so sick, makes people vomit
Really nice.
But pay attention, the copy says "stubborn stain", so it means the stain is stubborn and difficult to clean so finally or the lady have not used Ariel demonstrating to be a stupid girl who put on a dress still dirty or she used Ariel, which is the most aggressive cleaning system, but without success.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but she's hiding the stain on the left breast?
So the joke is, like, she can't greet with the usual "Namaste" (where her hands should be in the middle of her chest)
Cos she's too preoccupied hiding the stain on the left side of her breast.
