...Hmm okay let's see.

Burkas are usually black.

These have colour.

Ariel keeps colours how they should be.

Nope, not getting it.

Unless the garment underneath is shining through because the colours are so vibrant.

Am I close?

You got it, the color is so vibrant it shines through the burka.

He got it. And maybe some few creatives.
Regarding the abaya-wearing countries, they'd might understand this. But the average "international" consumer has no glue whatsoever. They'd be guessing for miles and hours. IMO it's kinda subtle. Either way.

well that could mean the persil cleaned the burka so much that it made the colour fade away or it somehow brightned up the colourful clothes beneath that it shone through the yet again, faded burka ........ maybe if it were glowing it would work better ?

Please, these are NOT burkas! A burka is a cultural, non religious piece of cloth, worn only in Afghanistan and some neighboring regions.

These are niqabs.

Get your backward-obscurantist-garment facts right, people.

That's neither a burka nor a niqab. It's just a regular 'abaya'.
A niqab is a type of head cover that only reveals the eyes.

I dont think these ads have anything to do with a concept...considering the restrictions that advertisements have over there, i think they just wanted abaya wearing women to relate and connect with ariel in some way...
and they hired students to do it -_-

Looks like people are not getting the idea, so maybe the ad is not communicating the idea...

I didn't get it till I read that it's the color shining thru.
