The PS work is pretty well done. I don't know what I'd change on it. It looks fake, well, because he'd need one helluva strong toothbrush with chompers like that.
I too could tell it was fake (I'm not a mum though) but I think the re-touching is fine, its cos its a bad ad.

people always say "really bad photoshop"....but i'd be willing to bet some of the people saying that really couldn't do a better job themselves.
i'm a copywriter. looks fine to me (consumers only spend 5 seconds looking at the ad anyway right?).
