Whare's the bed?
JWT, Delhi is doin SHIT work and im surprised ivan, coz this campaign definitely doesn't deserve the main page. me being indian im saying that... i mean, JWT mumbai has being doing some gr8 work, bt this...yuck!
~ old habits die hard, older ones never do ~
this is the first time i'll agree with chints!!! this so doesnt deserve this page!!! what were they thinking?? Harley Davidson pulls it off... u cant man!!!
Well, sorry if I disappoint. I think the product benefit of not having your tyres blown in the wrong neighborhood is original and compelling. Casting is good, photography is good. What else do you need for a good campaign?
i think suspension and i mean the suspension in storytelling and imagination doesn't really work well here, could have been better in tv. Maybe more extreme styling and acting? These guys don't look scary enough, they have dogs eyes telling: "hey cutie, wanne look my pimpedup car instead?" In particular this one here looks like coming from soft pornn school.
mediocre to average execution
Well Ivan,
Something coming from JWT Delhi should have definitely been better than this.
The whole setting of could perhaps not be completed properly as the medium of communication for this is not perfect. The execution of this in the Television Media with a lot more effects would perhaps be a much better option
However, the idea behind the campaign is original and they do deserve the credit for it.
I'm not a big fan of scare tactics... but I guess it works for this product. I'm torn :(
hahaha - how did ivan come up to being blamed about this?
THIS SITE IS FOR CREATIVITY, LOOKING AT IT, THINKING ABOUT IT, AND GENERALLY SEEING WHAT'S GOING ON AROUND THE WORLD.
hey, sorry if all the work isnt up to the usual high standards that a few people seem to demand. (funnily, something tells me that these complainers truly are the bigger hacks amongst us...)
hey, if you think the ad is shit - say so and move on. maybe try and give some insight as to why you think it's shit....!
thats my 2 cents.
oh, and the ad is shit. its one ad (which is shit), done 3 times. so thats 3 times of shit. the line is shit. the placement of the line is shit, but the i like the photography.
jwt delhi, maybe try not to be so lazy next time.
ivan, you're a legend. keep it up, mate.
peace.
Thanks for the kind words, I really don't deserve it.
Yes, I agree if you don't like an ad please do give a reason, don't just express a dislike. There are many students on this forum, many professionals who want to learn. Just saying shit, helps little if nothing. Saying what's wrong with the communication helps tremendously. So, if you can give us your insight, share a bit of your expertise.
And, if I may ask - avoid profanity. Criticize, but keep it civil. Thanks!
this is history repeating. i had the same experience in my Keep Walking campaign when i posted it in exhibition.
just gave it a quick thought for a few minutes:
its a good product. one of the ideas could have been the one shown above (executed better).
another could have been maybe some dodgy eunachs (seen around india) hassling the driver, and another could have been a bull taking a huge shit next to the window (this happened to me, and sitting in a car, your head height is roughly the same height as a bulls arse. kind of disconcerting).
Bag fulla' bull [****]....

- The trick to forgetting the big picture is to look at everything close-up.

WELL I THINK UR TALKING EXACTLY OPPOSITE TO WHAT YOU SAID TO ME IN YOUR MAIL IVAN...
ANYWAYZ STILL NO ILL FEELING FOR YOU DEAR...
Did I say I want people to just trash work and give no reason? I doubt it.
This is a 1st thought idea and a very weak one at that. On top of that they made a campaign out of
it. BAD!
i disagree with all the naysayers.
the idea is extremely good and extremely new. to go this route for tubeless tyres is a far cry and a welcome change from all those award-type ads. i mean, any "normal" creative person would have focused on "tubeless" and done a big visual-small logo cannes hopeful.
the great part about this campaign is that it isn't typically award-winning. but it is refreshingly different as a campaign.
so isn't this a fantastic way to look at it?
i agree with smartkani ...100% your right man, i think we should look at the campaign as a new fresh one though i may not win awards, i said the same thing about BBDO's creative one or two days back... let us give some room for new out of the box thinking...

sorry guys but i really like the idea.
the guys are a bit strange though... this one looks like a boy group singer (yeah, scary, but not scary enough for this ad), the second looks slightly too.. well... undead, the third one is good.
as this is from india i suppose it is the shotgun side window the guys are looking through. maybe a guy looking through the driver's window, standing much closer, from the driver's POW, would be better and scarier
Doesn't do it at all for me. Pap.

emmh..emmh...next Ad pls.
I think the Ads ok.
Agreed that JWT has improved over the past year or so, but
don't throw your brains out of the window hunting for awards.
save your money on model 2 and 3.
instead, pay them to help come up with a different situation to why blowing a tire is scary.
it was good once.
