not a clear visual. i didn't get syringe = death until after i read the copy. not sure if it helps to have to rely on copy. because a syringe could also mean vaccine, better health, etc... could be clearer.

Tough call. Most people's exposure to hypodermics is for better health (vaccines, shots, etc.) so there's no visual tie to what people know.
My first thought when I saw the image was 'Botox'.
