Animal Care and Control of New York City: Mug shots, 7
The ads depict shelter pets that have been rescued and is in need of a good home. The ads stress that these animals are victims of circumstance and not abuse. Their only crime is wanting a place to call home.

These are good but may be tough to maintain. I've worked for a newspaper before. There was a small section for adopt a pet that always featured a picture of an animal from the shelter. The shelter used to complain that they'd get dozens of calls for that one animal but people weren't interested in the other unfeatured animals.
I worry that this approach may cause the same problem. As an example, I think that it is likely people will call asking specifically for the animal whose owner left for Iraq and not be interested in the hundreds of other animals.
A solid creative effort though.
I like these ads. Good job.
I have simply and honestly always loved BULLDOGS.
They are so cuuuuuuuutttttteeeeeeeee....
Nice stuff. Anything to get animals adopted from the pound.
my that's very good insight, Blahg.
Top creative direction and grahically grabby. To be pedantic the eyes are a bit dark on these.
== Bring back fags, lard and the biff.
The only thing I dont like, and call me picky, is the line "I didn't do anything."
Mug shots usually don't include the perp's defense strategy. But hey, that's just me.
