Why is George Bush not included in the campaign? He is the 'Father of all....' Even these together cant reach his stature!!!

I really like the concept, but reminds me of a campaign that run few years ago, it was almost the same, but instead of signatures, the were "silenced" with real darning cotton

I think that the concept of silencing someone is dictatorial by itself, even if you are silencing a dictator.

bknowlden's picture 3435 pencils

Really like the idea.

Who are these dictators, i've recognized pinochet, but the others i don't, can someone tell me who they are?

postman's picture 961 pencils

This one's Muammar al-Gadaffi (Libya) and the next one is Kim Jong Il (North Korea).

It's funny that the French want to shut Gaddafi's mouth in an era when french - libyan relationships are going from good to better. But, when was the last time you saw a creative learned in politics? Apart the Cannes politics, that is.

A.I. has always been fighting for the basic human rights of those political refugees and detainees, etc. Has always had that image of the savior. A saint-like figure. So, naturally I was a little taken aback by this sudden shift of tonality. This is a pretty forceful and aggressive image for a humanitarian organization. It almost feels like they're attempting to overthrow a regime by public support. And that is not their role or mission. But then, I may be reading too much into it as usual...

I like the visual device they used here, though. I love it, actually.
I don't think I've ever seen it done like this before.
Nice job.
