You guys remember the ad where the guy is chained to the bed only by one of those coin release things used to chain up shopping carts? Basically, all this guy needed was someone to put a coin in the thing to release him. Now that was an ad. For me, this ad doesn't bring any of that urgency to the issue, nor does it humanize it.
Of course it humanizes it. The chance of the candle blowing out manifests the fragility of human life. The urgency lies in the possibility of the next small gust of breeze blowing it out because the person is one dollar short of a jab for malaria, for example. You people are clueless or what?
