Riot on the ramp... like the campaign.

I agree with all people who said that this is just a different take on the subject. Don't take the word "fashionable" here literally as in "glamorous", "pretty", "chic", etc. When you say something's fashionable, you mean "it's happening right now". So the idea behind this campaign is that domestic abuse, police brutality, etc are (still) happening.
It is not bad. 'still fashionable' or 'still in fashion' means ppl are still doing it. Simple play with words but the discrepancy between the popular, the celebrated and the horrible makes it a strong visual.
I love the "the discrepancy" part. I now like the campaign even more. In real life many of us, the onlookers, are like the people in that audience. We just look and do nothing. So now the whole fashion runway approach makes even more sense to me. Stunning visual!
wordplay is how you run away from good copy. here's another train of thought: turning wordplay to visual is just (in general) ridiculous / disturbing ?
good one! love it!

Oh comee on, its amnesty international ! U throw so much money for an average idea? Fashionable.. Ok? so the background of this message is people are still doing it .. thank u for such info, we all didn't knew that there is violence in the world. Try next season 2011 summer-spring collection and tell us something more .
Why the heck when I want to share it on facebook the thumbnail comes with the 7th comment as description ?!
