good concept, but showing the infant is literally beating you over the head with the message.

yes, of course. crying babies (particularly disaturated), of course. or crying woman, or crying old man, or man without legs.

i think folks at the Hungarian agency got a bunch of Graphis Advertising Annuals circa 80's. ;)

Great photos! But Amnesty International has such a big benchmark now, that this looks soft. specially after the work that TBWA Paris and BBDO Madrid has done lately.

Amnesty International making noise about domestic violence doesn't make complete sense for me....unless they've given up on helping political prisoners.

An emotive visual and an amnesty international logo down the bottom doesn't mean it's good work. In fact, it's pretty fucking average.

man, this is an all type ad... it IS good 'cause the copy is brilliant and the photography works. That's it.

another fucking asshole ripping off jill's work. amnesty international can now join the Swiss SDP, who recently used her work without attribution, and they can also join yet another major ad agency who did the same thing, was called out for it on a blog, and punished jill for their bad behavior after the fact.

people, no one gives a flying fuck about copyright. defending DDB budapest or Amnesty for this (no matter how one feels about AI--i happen to love them) is just protecting the powerful corporate interests over the individual. having copyright on your images is useless if you can't protect yourself from said copyright being ripped off. jill can't afford to take on DDB budapest--DDB worldwide would immediately blackball jill and jill's lawyers would be tied up in knots until jill was broke since DDB can afford infinite lawyering.

until photographers can get together and collectively bargain and show real solidarity with each other this will just happen over and over. you think the photog who took this shot didn't know what they were doing?

welcome to the real world kids. come on in--the water is polluted and filthy.
