I just can't stand American Apparel's seemingly over-ethical posture, when they promote their products with
ads featuring young girls in sexually suggestive situations/poses. I am amazed at the fact that they can get away with it!

Before you praise American Apparel for their "ethics", go read this article...

ok ok..i read your articles there.

but, to be completely honest, im afraid it may still be a lot of smoke and mirrors in an effort to gain some free advertising. with all the dropped cases and flimsy reports it just seems like a good bad publicity stunt. in fact there is a subtle reference to such in the last article. i believe it may all be just part of the marketed image. they're trying to portray women in a sexy and, in some respects, empowering manner(hence the untraditional beauty)..could be wrong of course, but it smells fishy. (no pun intended)

i don't really like their overly sexual ads either, so thats why i decided to go this route.
