cool concept. it would be more effective if there was some garnish to show the star inside the cresent mooon. well.. i think thats what the designer is trying to achieve.
This looks a bit tacky. Also, what's the significance of the tomato soup in Ramadan? Or is it a specialty they serve at these restaurants?
Its not about the tomato soup, its the crescent. End of the fasting season takes place with the sighting of the new moon, and therefore, crescent to Ramadan is pretty much like Santa to Christmas. Such a cliché though.

An old idea revisited but done well. However, a few dates and dry fruits besides the soup (not certainly tomato but some traditional stew etc.) . Also preferably the background should have been green. Happy Ramadan.

nice, but what's the copywriter did on ad?
the copywriter did the Arabic virgin, because it is Arabic aphorism about Ramadan twisted to fit the ad and it didn't work in English
