You mean nice illustration. The art director came up with the visual concept, he did not draw the f***ing thing.
Oh c'mon, you're just jealous. I bet you're an illustrator or just a fan of and whatever. Art director came up with that idea and illustrator just worked on that based on the mind of the art director.
It's just that when people see a nice visual they credit the art director, and forget the illustrator.
I think the credit should go first to the Illustrator/Photographer. An idea will fall fat without the proper execution. And the Art Director's main job is the concept not the illustration. Sometimes when people see a bad idea they say "bad idea but nice art direction". That's stupid in my opinion.
That said, I like both the concept and the execution of this ad.
Those who says, "bad idea but nice art direction" are of course people not involved in advertising and doesn't know about the actual process and roles internally. I understand your feeling but it's our world (mass, people, non-advertising audience) who gives that kind of opinion and, we should just understand that.
Actually, I love the concept...the illustration is great too, but its the idea that amazes me here.

Jajaja great campaign. This is the best. The tatoo transforming wood in skin, is an extraordinary idea.
I hate all those comments "Done" What if it has been done? This is not Innovation of the World... This is Ads of the World, and what really matters is if it is good or not. I am pretty sure of something: You have had sex only once, because in 2nd chance you said... Done!

The art direction/illustration is really good. I'm not very impressed about the idea but I think this is ad is a real seller.
