The number one activity among teens is inactivity.
Today’s inactive youth could be the first generation to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents.

I've seen several ads with the exact same message and concept (premature death brought on by teens themselves) but not one with this much impact. Art direction here is almost impeccable. I hope this work gets every possible industry recognition. But more importantly, I pray this gets enough public exposure that people will start talking about it and create some sort of a groundswell...

This is a very fine example of the visual and the copy complementing each other perfectly. Simply fantastic ad!!

The concept would work better with a fat kid. I don´t think tv is that bad these days, in the past yes since there was only a few channels and basic you had no choice on what to watch, but these days with tons of channels I think kids can even learn stuff, see different point of views, if you go with the "physical side" of inactivity then I agree but the kid had to be fat.

Very nice ad.

But one of my biggest pet peeves is creative directors that suffer from Small Penis Syndrome. You're the CD, it's your job to make the copy better. Maybe even write a line or two here or there. But are you really so praise-dependent that you need a copywriting credit on top of your CD credit? Come on.

I totally agree.

Yeah I agree, If you are the creative director keep it at that, it's more professional and doesnt take away from the team that worked on it.

Hey Clambake. Been too busy to respond before now. I've been busy creating award-winning ads. And that includes sometimes writing copy. Sometimes art directing. I even design and illustrate sometimes. Multi-talented I guess.
