I like the idea of the headgear but there is a disconnect between the activities and the facial expressions and the message. I'm confused.

Al'Mara is an Omani woman's magazine http://www.oeronline.com/php/aboutus/almara.htm, published in English. So this travesty can't blame translation: WHY the fuck is it suggesting that women encourage domestic violence by suffering it? HOW can FP7 fail to see it has doomed this campaign with the most inappropriate tagline possible? I'm sick of people giving words a bad reputation - this could have been a quarter-way decent campaign if you'd taken more than 10 seconds with the copy. All this serves to do is make domestic abuse victims feel even more responsible for their plight than they do already. Fucking disgraceful.

Domestic violence often emanates from senseless talking, from both sides. Most of the time the talk that women do, only aggravate the situation, be it defensive or mere pleading for mercy. You are right when you said the victim might feel responsible which they already do. They are responsible for their own welfare too, than live (?) dangerously in self-blame. Unless they wake up and take charge, there is no point in talking to their persecutor, which obviously hasn’t helped the situation so far. May be, begin with the first step – of talking to someone else about the misery.

F%#@in bad that men don't get it, most of the time. Thanks *CP.
