I personally felt it to be a very average ad. The thought gone behind it is kinda intriguing but the execution fails big time. even the detailing has taken a toss. At least the two adjacent months must have had the last day and the first day in sync. (as in if a month ends on Tuesday the next month starts on a Wednesday)
@ lizard king I think you have completely missed the point when you say that there should have been 2 adjacent months.We only have one December month so its saying create awareness for the entire month.I guess we need to be brain dead not understand the sync made out. Understand such ads are created to generate awareness for the layman on the street which this ad has brilliantly done...So don't get too technical where the target audience are diffrent.
Take it easy! These are a few details that came across my mind n i expressed it! It is not a necessity that you have to agree with me! N if you read carefully i said the thought was intriguing (Meaning interesting or tending to making you think... if you know). I just said that i didn't like the art direction as it lacks polishing. And though the month used is only December... there are scattered dates and days if you know what i mean...

Do not overlook the intent and the message it carries. @Viked 666- To add up on your point- I do not think its the layman which is targeted rather its the sheer "In the face" "On your ears ad" WHICH SURPRISINGLY is a simple yet driving the point home idea TARGETED at the so called "Well Informed" Junta...
@ Ad designer- Any more works please!!! I would like to see more of these. We are an NPO working out of vienna and would be interested in more HIV awareness creatives....Its the need of the hour. Factually Speaking- there would be more HIV+ves than Cold and cough patients in 2020 !!!!!

i dont understand how the ad contradict itself. it talks about treating everyday as december 1. hence all the dates are shown a december 1 .
