How hard is it to get? They go against the flow. Not very good though, and kind of an old idea.

very conceptual!:

When everybody zigs, they zag.
But this is saying when everyone zigs, eveyone zags.
It's a cool 'conundrum' grpahic idea, but isn't clear.
Perhaps all the little arrowns AND the overall arrow heading
in one direction with one arrow going against the tide would be clearer.

the visual has a very powerful effect, no doubt.
the message is a little open though.
i guess if you know the product well, it makes sense.
Why use "The Economist" layout?
If you don´t follow trends so should your art direction.
