It's just a metaphor I think, that ideas fuel each other. I agree it can be interpreted that we steal from each other.
I would run them in Campaign, AdAge or Archive if I had the budget, but unlikely.

have seen alot of derrin brown, he has no reason to fake it i think.
a friend of mine said he saw something very similar with an artist who walked to a studio, was given a brief for a painting, and painted pretty much exactly the same thing as the guy.
i thought it was relevant to ivans aotw campaign - as in, we take things from all around us and subconsciously make ads out of them. i find it fascinating.
moral of the story: get out more.
I think this is fake, but could've been real. There is no reason it would not be fake. Nobody can disprove it, so much easier to fake it. The problem with these people is that they claim to have supernatural abilities, when in fact they are just mediocre magicians. I may be wrong, but this is my general impression. Good show nevertheless and the outtake is true. We are influenced by stuff that's happening around us.

they screw with our minds. their shows are actually based on the power of heterosuggestion.
do you know brown's russian roulette thing? don't tell me he isn't a show magician.
certainly there are ways to manipulate people's minds so they tell/do just what you want them to tell/do (like the one with "his friend's" photos). very interesting matter anent advertising though.
