They could make a rip-off ad about the US army statue where ppl were erecting the flag on a pole... but pity that adidas never produce humourous ads.

Brilliant. Most hacks wouldn't get it. The idea of purchasing a pair of Adidas to train alone with the object/fantasy of performing for your country is expertly captured. The text between the lines is pure Adidas.
