If men were women, we'd insure them.
But they're not. So they don't get to pay substantially lower car insurance premiums.
Cover with care.

" But they're not. So they don't get to pay substantially lower car insurance premiums."

Too long and boring copy.

Why do women pay less for car insurance? There is a saying here about women and cars that is not so positive. So letting women drive AND paying less doesn't make sense.

I couldn't agree more.

i know. women are just as crazy behind the wheel as men. but, we have less testosterone, so are less likely to be as agressive. but that doesn't mean there aren't careless women drivers. the ones that make my head spin are the ones who apply makeup while driving. "honey, that mascara is going to run down your face right after you hit that car beside you anyways, and you are going to look hideous when the coroner gets here, so why don't you just wait till you get to your destination and then apply it. mkay?"

Are you female?

Vive La Aducation!

ellehcimeo's picture 3536 pencils

yes, mon petit chou, je suis une femme.

Corona Raymaker's picture 549 pencils

Très bien.
Anyway, don't get under the wrong impression that we devalue women. Or that you have to defend them. :)

not at all.
i do feel that the insurance companies are dodgy because they discriminate based on the sex of the individual applying though. equality goes both ways.

Corona Raymaker's picture 549 pencils

Fully agree with you in that aspect.

why, may I ask, is there a rat in the ad??

Seixas's picture 95 pencils

it´s photoshoped

"What it is. What it was."

soulbearer's picture 187 pencils

man u missed the whole ad.....the man is scared of the rat

Corona Raymaker's picture 549 pencils

are you saying that the reason for the rat beeing in the ad is the fact, that it is photoshopped?

Vive La Aducation!

Thiago Aranha's picture 121 pencils

The rat is there to illustrate the guy as if he was a woman... just that...
And yes, it's photoshoped. And yes, badly photoshoped.

Lorem Ipsum dolor sit amet...

while he's up there, he should hang himself.

Corona Raymaker's picture 549 pencils

And actually the cliché is talking about mice, not rats.

I would jump on the table if i see a rat. So would that make me a woman too?

Corona Raymaker's picture 549 pencils

That strongly depends on your specific reasons for jumping. Feel free to elaborate ...

Intelligent ads are the need of the hour.

Laurent's picture 295 pencils

In a time where everyone's rapping about gender equality and sexual discrimination, this ad does both. I don't think we can blame the agency since they're only doing thier job, but the product in itself is shit. I honestly can't figure out why a person should pay less for something because of his/her sex.

ivan's picture

Simply because statistics show that man do more costly accidents. And, I think women do more small accidents. So at the end of the day women in general cost less for insurance companies.

Wordnerd's picture 5288 pencils

YES!! I have waited sooo long to say: That's sexist and i'm feeling discriminated! Thanks!
