Ok, so with this faster internet i will have a lot of bugs faster as well?
Bugs relate to internet but also to error, malfunction, all the stuff you don't want...
the bugs in this case refer to the bugs that get squashed on car windshield when driving fast and not to computer bugs.
i think the idea was to show how fast the internet works. when you ride a motorcicle or a car, bugs get squashed on your window. it's a great ad guys.
I instantly get the speeding car/bugs concept, but you've made a good point about computers. No one wants bugs. It takes a bit more thought to get there, but you can't count that everyone's first thought will be related to driving.

I think the bugs are a metaphore for the speed of the internet, just like when you speed with your bike, you will swallow alot of bugs. You shouldn't see the bugs as a metaphore for computer problems :-)
But I think the idea would have been much stronger if his face was distorted from the speed, like when you're on a rollercoaster or skydiving. Now it takes too much time to understand the idea.

both ads are dealing with high speed internet connection but that's the only thing they have in common. this ad have a totally different way to execute the concept and it's way is just as good if not better.

Everybody gets the concept of the squished bugs, that doesn't mean it's good. As has been pointed out, bugs mean something negative with computers and even with its association to driving it's hardly a benefit.
For the inevitable army of guest commenters chirping 'done' you should at least understand that it's not bad because it's been done before; it's bad and shouldn't have been done ever.

Always the bad and the good guys....i never know who is who.(i know that children live and die on both sides so you are making a bad propaganda) Here at least we can really judge good and bad ads and this is a 3,5/10 ad.
