Office of Tobacco Prevention and Control: Quit Smoking. Get Healthier.

Quit Smoking. Get Healthier.

Every two weeks the lungs on the billboard would be repainted to grow steadily healthier, as if the person had quit smoking. It's a simple, yet compelling visual to catch people's eye and remind them that when you quit smoking, your lungs get healthier.

It doesn't bother smokers. Waste of money and public scenery devastation.

Wouldn't it have been easier for both the ad agency and the target audience to make a simple print of movie in which the lungs get healthy.. Now people have to watch black lungs for a couple of weeks before they get the idea of "ooooooh, it's getting HEALTHIER..." (if they notice at all)

*and it seem like a waste of money to rent that space for weeks before it gets to the point.

"Every two weeks the lungs on the billboard would be repainted to grow steadily healthier"
Every two weeks the sky takes back the same place...
